CLIENT OVERVIEW:

Founded in 1938, Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Company is one of the region's largest professional services firms operating five offices in Cincinnati, Dayton, Springfield, Middletown and Columbus. Beyond the borders of Ohio, the company is positioned as the firm of choice for countless businesses in Kentucky and Indiana, and is recognized among the top sixty CPA firms in the nation. It offers tax and audit services, employee benefits services, and internal audits.

BUSINESS CHALLENGE:

Clark, Schaefer, and Hackett outsourced a large portion of its printing including production booklets and bound proposals. The firm desired in-house production of its documents for editing purposes and heightened control. During tax season, the firm nearly quadrupled its printing and incurred significant overage fees under the previous vendor’s contract.   It wished to consolidate to one vendor and cut costs.

SOLUTION:

Lanier Pro 906ExMOM became the sole vendor and equipped each of the five regional offices with a Lanier Pro 906Ex complete with the GBC Booklet Making Finisher. This technology enables the firm to provide its clients with bound proposals, production booklets, and tax records and helps the firm maintain its professional image without the cost of outsourced printing.

To decrease costs further, MOM created a flexible monthly printing schedule specifically catered to the firm’s unique printing needs by allotting more prints per month during tax season when printing significantly increases. Today, the MOM sales representative handles the services calls, billing, and maintenance requests for all five offices and has become the trusted advisor on every aspect of document management for the firm.
