Founded in 1950, the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges conducts annual solicitations of companies and foundations to benefit private colleges in Ohio. This non-profit organization receives gifts that make a significant impact on member colleges and universities within Ohio, as they provide funds for campuses, scholarships, programmatic support, and endowments.

The Foundation’s previous service agreement did not offer enough flexibility because it would cause them to incur significant printing overages during their peak printing months. The Foundation also desired to go paperless because of all the files for the students, donors, endowments, and scholarships. All this paperwork was difficult to keep organized, and the staff spent many hours manually storing and retrieving the files.

MOM right-sized the printing environment by changing from a 105 page per minute copier to an 80 page per minute copier which offered a significantly faster warm up time, better suited the organization’s needs, and even saved them on their monthly bill. MOM also changed the Foundation’s billing from a monthly to a quarterly schedule which resulted in a service savings of 39%.  Because the Foundation still needed an updated method for printing envelopes, MOM provided the organization with a HP Laser Jet printer with an envelope feeder.
