Question:

I work for a company that receives alot of faxes from our clients. We then key the purchase orders into our MAS90 order entry system, and then we fill the orders. Our business is growing and we need a way to automate this increased volume of faxed orders. One of my staff spends more that 1,000 hours per year on this task.

Answer:
This is a common issue with businesses that receive a lot of sales orders via facsimile. The amount of valuable staff time spent manually keying this information could easily pay for an automated system that could be programmed to read your faxed in orders, file them in a document management system such as DocuClass, and push the order information from the document management system into your MAS90 order entry system. This type of office automation can save a considerable amount of man-hours and free up staff to do other more import tasks.
