Modern Office Methods Named a 2026 ENX Magazine Elite Dealer, Extending a Winning Streak Every Year Since 2013
Cincinnati dealer cited for AI-powered sales enablement, managed IT and cybersecurity growth through Optimized IT and Obviam, and community-driven innovation
CINCINNATI, OH, November 4th, 2026 – Modern Office Methods (MOM), a second-generation, family-owned provider of office technology, managed IT and cybersecurity services across Ohio and Pennsylvania, has been named a 2026 Elite Dealer by ENX Magazine. MOM is one of a small group of dealers that have earned the award every year since 2013, marking 14 consecutive years of recognition. This year, MOM was selected for continued innovation in how it provides services and secures technology for businesses throughout the region.
ENX Magazine’s Elite Dealer program recognizes independent office technology dealers that set the standard for the industry through growth, innovation, employee culture and community involvement. MOM’s 2026 recognition comes as the company prepares to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2027.
“Being named an ENX Elite Dealer every year since 2013 is a credit to our 250-plus employees and the customers who trust us,” said Kevin McCarthy, CEO of Modern Office Methods. “We have spent nearly 70 years evolving with every shift in office technology. Today that means bringing print, managed IT and cybersecurity together under one accountable partner, and using AI and data to serve customers better.”
What Set MOM Apart in 2026
MOM’s 2026 recognition highlights four areas where the company invested this year:
- AI-powered sales enablement. MOM launched a BDR Training Hub featuring a live, AI-driven cold-call role-play that adapts to each prospect’s industry, logs every session to HubSpot and scores rep performance. The company also rebuilt its vertical market sales playbook, now covering 23 industries, and modernized its proposal process for roughly 45 sales professionals.
- Managed IT and cybersecurity growth. Through its Optimized IT and Obviam divisions, MOM continued expanding beyond print into managed IT, help desk, and cybersecurity services, positioning itself as a single partner for the entire technology environment.
- Managed Label Print, powered by Zebra. Under the theme “The Other Half of Your Fleet,” MOM extended its managed print expertise to label printers for manufacturing, warehouse and healthcare customers, anchored by a free on-site Label Fleet Assessment.
- Community impact through the Cincinnati Bengals. MOM’s Office Technology Makeover, presented with the Cincinnati Bengals, awards a deserving nonprofit a technology upgrade, with the 2026 winner to be recognized on December 31. MOM employees also volunteered roughly 195 hours over the past year supporting organizations such as the Freestore Foodbank, Marine Toys for Tots, Make-A-Wish and BonSecours Mercy Health Foundation.
“Our sales and marketing teams are using AI and real-time data in ways that were not possible even two years ago,” said Karen Morgan, Director of Marketing & Sales Development for MOM, Optimized IT and Obviam. “This allows our people spend less time on busywork and more time solving real problems for customers.”
One Partner for Print, IT and Security
Optimized IT and Obviam sit at the center of MOM’s growth strategy. Together with MOM’s core print and document business, the three brands give customers one accountable partner for print, managed IT and cybersecurity.
Optimized IT, MOM’s managed IT services and technology consulting division, launched a new website at optimizedit.net in June 2026. It was also ranked #24 on the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2026 list of Cincinnati’s Top 30 IT Consulting Firms.
Obviam, MOM’s cybersecurity company, delivers Managed Detection & Response, Security Awareness Training, Risk & Compliance Management and Vulnerability Assessments. Obviam has supported MOM’s expansion into the Pittsburgh market and hosted executive events such as Secure the Season, a cyber resilience program in Columbus.
“Every copier and printer on a network is an endpoint that needs to be managed and secured,” said Ken Staubitz, COO of Modern Office Methods. “Optimized IT and Obviam let us protect the whole environment, not just the devices we place. That is what customers need from a technology partner today.”
