Due to a recent announcement from our partner, Ricoh, we would like to provide our clients some additional information regarding a print driver security vulnerability. Ricoh was recently made aware of a vulnerability associated with some of their printer and PC fax drivers.
To resolve this vulnerability, Ricoh Company, Ltd. posted an updated Ricoh universal print driver on January 22, 2020. Ricoh will also release a security patch for other printer drivers to mitigate the risk. Please note, this is a common business practice similar to any other company publishing a software update or security patch.
